Little Red
Behind her was a flowing red mist
Little red riding hood, I blew her a kiss
She wandered ever onward
To the woods that one day
Never minding the feral beast in the gray
Sullen and lonely I too had not spoken
But I knew she as well was defeated and broken
Something tragic befell both her and her elder
But I stood in the woods with nothing to tell her
It is true, that fate is a thing both set and awry.
We were both in the woods
Together
But separate we died.
