Slice of Life

Hello, hi,
Yes over here,
I'm ready to order
I hope I make this clear.
I'll have a slice of life,
Thank you very much,
I don't mind the size
But I want it to satisfy my lunch.

I want a slice with lots of flavours,
one bite will be nice and sweet,
another may be sour or bitter.
It should melt in my mouth,
So soft I might not need to chew,
But some of it should be hard,
So that I have to work to break it down.

As I said, I'd enjoy a slice of life,
One with plenty of ups and downs.
I don't want anything special, that'll keep me up at night,
And don't forget the special
that comes with a slice of life,
As with any other life,
When I'm finished,

Remember to bury me 6 feet deep.
