jeff bezos is the martin luther king jr of our time
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their wish list and Prime video queue.
I'm not going to read that. So, is she stealing?
Let me piss in your mouth
No, amazon's cashier-less convenience store lets her shop without worrying about being accused of shoplifting as a black woman. The concluding paragraph
Amazon Go isn't going to fix implicit bias or remove the years of conditioning under which I've operated. But in the Amazon Go store, everyone is just a shopper, an opportunity for the retail giant to test technology, learn about our habits and make some money. Amazon sees green, and in its own capitalist way, this cashierless concept eased my burden a little bit.
Ugh. I give it 12 months before were mad at globo homo gay tech for offending latinx gender neutrals by not being able to program their 12 suffixes or something equally as gay.
Wait, can you just steal from this place then?
See, that's what I thought this article was supposed to be about. "Amazon cut down on guard labor, so now I can rob their bougie gentrifier asses with impunity."
Yeah that would have been cool as hell
Black nationalism has been counterrevolutionary for three generations now. Here is the end result of “post-revolutionary black consciousness.”
this doesn't reflect a black nationalist position, just a regular black person who buys shit in stores
Her "consciousness" stems from black nationalism
Possibly. Does it also hold that black nationalism stems from daily life as a black person in American society?
Maybe you move away from Liberal Shitholes (TM) and you'll find the rest of the country doesn't care what color you are. Projection is one of the five pillars of Liberalism.
I mean this is just emphatically not true.
it is true, it just has little to do with the fact that those places are liberal shitholes and more to do with social segregation. this poster is full of shit if they think republican voting districts in vermont, new jersey or connecticut are somehow examples of racial inclusivity and tolerance.
when every other customer is black, people don't have the mental energy needed for treating them as imminent threats. stereotyping is inversely proportional to the prevalence of a given group in society.

Maybe, but the liberal parts of America tend to be the less homogenous areas. Suburbs and small towns are mostly white, heavily conservative, and tend to be fairly racist.
There are obviously problems with liberal anti-racism, but the idea that liberals in America are somehow more racist than others is absurd. Yes you can get folks like the Get Out family who will talk your ear off about how much they love Obama but then are terrified of certain neighbourhoods, but on the whole liberal parts of the country tend to be more diverse and anecdotally, less racist.
The distinction to be made is that in some places, small towns, rural hamlets, and suburbs are less heavily white. Broadly speaking, those places tend not to be in major metropolitan regions.

Adapting to and overcoming its own inefficiencies is precisely why capitalism is so insidious. In this example, amazon is profiting from racial prejudice.
