Your gaze upon my ashes is
Enkindling my extinguished hearth.
The sparks that fly to you with bliss
Are too, igniting you with love.

I'll burn to end the shivers from
Your glacial sigh.
Hold your hands to me and
Fuel my cinder with your fire.

Drift away to the yellow and blue
Glimmers dancing within my hearth.
And I shall become high and imbue
Your soul and heart with benign warmth.

Rest your head on mine,
Keep my wildfire tame.
Do not be afraid of the seeping time
And I'll be yours, a deathless burning flame.
