Tinnitus and Hydration

Does anyone find that your T volume goes down when you're hydrated? I've found that the volume decreases once I drink several liters of water per day. I'm typically drinking 7-8 liters now and I've noticed a difference.

For that much liquid intake, you need to be careful about sodium intake too. 8 litres a day is a lot.

I am. I also take magnesium supplements and eat a lot of food high in potassium. I drink that much water because I also vape and I drink coffee

I sure hope this is something that works, exactly what I need to motivate my self to trade my 2 liters of pepsi for 4 liters of water.

Yes. It's a little known/reported side effect of dehydration and rarely any mention or connection. It's my primary cause of the "loudness" of my T. The best I've ever felt was after IV infusion from surgery, likely because I was properly hydrated. Glad to see someone else make the connection.

Is this an actual side effect of dehydration?

Hydration makes just about everything better

Mine always seems louder when I’m dehydrated, too. Or really tired. Or sometimes randomly lol

Here to say mine is really random too. Being hydrated doesn’t help.

Mine gets somewhat worse if I am very dehydrated, but only then. It doesn't get better from drinking lots of water.
