Insta-Haiku

Powder snow;
I plunge to carve fresh tracks,
sun rises over the mountain.

P.S: This is my first attempt at writing a haiku, something I've become fascinated with, since it's almost instapoetry-like.....I chose to title it "Insta-Haiku", coz Haiku traditionally don't have titles, so instead I just wanted to convey the quintessential quality of Haiku being something that instantly pops into your mind when observing or contemplating something simple and profound. I acknowledge my poem may not fulfil the criteria of a Haiku, including the arguable rule of 5-7-5, as well as the usage of caesura…..but hey, I wanted to leave it just the way the idea popped into my mind....it was fun taking a shot at it!
