Give McCree Combat Roll invincibility frames
Yes, just like in Dark Souls.
With Ashe release, I fear we will see him much less. He's kit is not complete garbage, but his mobility makes him a hard pick. He has been mostly picked to counter Tracer and Phara. Brigitte is much better at countering Tracer and Ashe will be the goty counter to Phara with Widow/D.Va.
So, I don't think he's bad, but watching the cinematic made me think. Why is this cool cowboy so strong? Instead of being a survivor, he is mostly the first one to fall. What kind of a cowboy trows flashbangs to people faces? Is that why he is such a hero? Of course the truth lies in his high skill ceiling and those who master him do make him look like a monster, but how the game is right now he is just not that good of an pick. But I feel like that "luck", "guts" or "willpower" should also be seen somehow in the game.
I don't think we should just rework characters for no reason, but I feel like giving him some extra would make him more interesting to play at least, not everyone needs to be meta.
" Combat Roll invincibility frames", what I mean is that yes, this would mean you could "dodge" a D.va Bomb. But wouldn't that be the ultimate character fantasy? His character is just a lonesome cowboy who somehow "just survives" unbelievable odds, so I think it would actually fit the character. In the cinematic, he just kind of, dodged everything, didn't he? It would be cool if that same miracle working would be somehow showed in the game. This would also make rolling behind a wall a viable option because you can't die while doing that.
So, you can stop reading here, but I also have an idea to his ultimate: what if he had a "one hit shield"? So, one hit to McCree would "miss" before he could start making damage. This would make his ultimate less useless and create those magical moments were the widow headshot would "miss" just because of his sheer willpower and guts. Of course ANY DAMAGE would get rid off this shield so focusing McGree together would still be just as good. What do you think?

Being able to dodge a D.VA bomb would be utter bullshit. Dodging projectiles would make sense, but an explosion? Indiana Jones only did the equivalent by hiding in a fridge and real human physics would have seen him killed.
Roadhog can survive it by drinking juice, I dunno man.
But Sombra and Tracer dodging a dva bomb by blinking isn't bullshit?
Yes, because they're physically not there at the moment of explosion.
