the infinite fights of who’s right and wrong.

the long nights by the glass bottle,

the short days by the fogged window,

the average weeks of anticipating a change.

I know what’s on your mind,

the bright thoughts of excitement,

the pure visions of togetherness,

the calming voices of compatibility.

​

I know what’s on your mind,

the warm feelings of happiness,

the loud expressions of joy,

the positively enforced emotion of relief.
