ALONG THE RIVER. (First post in almost two weeks lol, go easy on me)

Sweep me away gentle river,
Like a mother cradling her baby..
Down the river, through the towns
I used to know as home...

Sweep me along: as would a swan...
Through tunnels of love,
In memory of my sweetest Lisa..
Our last kiss at the delta,

In the gray, let the weeping angels take me
Through warring rapids...
As the waters tide and quarrel.
Battle hardened: leave a pebble atop my wet pyre:

That I may pay the keeper,
To cross the river styx..
Gentle river take me to the waterfall
That I may be forgotten at the bottom,

One of countless left to nothing
Another soul,
Forgotten in the river..
