Qqq 160 calls for march
“Invest”
“lose” would have been better, I concur.
Play LULU's ER on 12/5/18 and purchase straddles until the market gives a better sense of direction leading up to earnings. At the time of the DD below, LULU's strike was ~$140 and Goldman projected a +/- 11% change from earnings as a catalyst, and it's since fallen by more than 11%. Hard to tell if it'll rally into earnings given the current market uncertainty, butt fuk it - can't gain if you don't play
Don't do anything today or for the next week. Follow option_sniper on Twitter closely, paper trade for 1 week. Then execute what he says
Fam, I think you on the wrong sub but I truly appreciate the advice.
I’m ready to risk it all.
AMD NEXT MONTH BROTHA 50/50 Chance
Hmmmm I like those odds
DE puts. Farm economy is getting tougher and tougher. Nobody is buying new tractors or if they are they can’t afford it. Interest rates are supposed to be rising again. 2k on 4 puts with 138 strike price to be on the safe side with 11/23 expiry. Or you go OTM puts for a higher risk/reward.
How crazy are the $134 Puts right now then?
If you want to be really autistic then go with the 130 puts. You could get 10 with 2k.
Damn and I thought $134 was nuts.
I really don’t understand options as much as I should, but what would the price need to hit to make that kind of money with $130 Puts?
I wanna ride the fine line somewhere between artistic and having a chance of making money.
Let’s say DE shits the bed tomorrow morning and plunges. 10% loss would bring it down to roughly 125. If you are holding a 130 put and your break even is 128 then you should be able to sell the option for at least 300 a contract plus the premium. 128-125 =3 dollars per share. A contract is 100 shares. Now I’m not that well versed in IV but I’m pretty sure it would be worth more then the 300 per contract. If you look at the 143 puts it’s 7 per contract which is an additional 3 for the premium when the price is ITM. I would guess each contract to be worth about 500 if you went with the 130 puts and it dropped to 125. So 10 contracts would be roughly 5k.
Orrrrr you could be super duper autistic and buy 40 120 puts but if the price doesn’t go below 120 your gonna lose it all.
If it dropped 20% that would put the price around 110. Rough math would be 1k per contract and 40 contracts well then that’s 40k.
