The Makers
“Please be seated. The show starts soon.”
The dark voice announced as the Makers entered the room.
“The show of a lifetime, a grand display human progression.”
“Each and every Maker is invited to the session.”
The Makers fill the seats as a dark cloud looms.
Yet they all smile as they fill up the room.
The show is a celebration, disturbing and pure.
An obsession at best, with no signs of a cure.
Mistakes, as they call them, are made every day.
So many mistakes, The Celebration has become the only way.
No regrets, no repentance, and nothing could go smoother,
Just pay the admission and put a stop to the little intruder.
Intruders all die as Makers become killers,
never bothering to look themselves in their mirrors.
“The show has begun,” the dark voice says with delight.
“Those little bastards will not survive the night.”
So they throw parades and march in the streets,
"Come back tomorrow when the celebration repeats.”
Every Maker is welcome, all or a portion.
