Hi, r/DestructiveReaders. New here. I'm an inexperienced writer who's had a late start in the craft. Up till now, I've written entirely for my own amusement but I'd like to eventually improve to the point that I feel comfortable sharing with others.

Feel free to point out basic writing/formatting errors. I'd rather find them sooner than later.

I'd also like a gauge of how tolerant the audience here is to the style of prose I've used. A brief, "didn't like the prose," will be helpful, even without a full critique.
