Day One RD Online Journal

So after a fun day by myself with none of my friends since in the only one that got the ultimate edition I came to learn a few things in this game and pass a couple of tips down to my friends when they start tomorrow so I thought I might as well share this info like I do with gta online community with the red dead community.

So first thing first character creation spend as much time on as you want but most importantly do not invest any points into stamina before I knew I was playing PvP game modes with Lvl 10 stamina from all the running around I did.

Your first match making mission you and 3 others will steal some horses once you clear the NPC there is 4 horse to chose from the one you chose will be yours after the mission I don't know if it random horses or specifically chosen but hey you might get lucky.

Free Mode is kinda bleh playing by yourself and maintaining you gear your stats and horse it bit much at first since you dont have anything though exp some cash and gold and honor can be earn it a bit slow and I haven't seen honor really affect gameplay like single player with store discounts.

Large Group series in my opinion is where everyone should not only does it not waste your inventory on maintaining your cores you also can easily make money and lvls but most importantly get used to gunfight in this game it take a moment since dead eye isn't a saving crutch like it is in single player or as devastating as it RD 1 online days.

Weapons as you may learn from large group series after a bit repeaters and shotgun are basically needed in every kit for any PvP activity as for sidearms any sidearm with great accuracy will do or sawn off double barrel.

Sadly the double action low accuracy make it a terrible and rifles low rate of fire and low ammo capacity is holding it back from it shorter range repeater cousins

Once you hit Lvl 10 you will have a treasure map in the mail this will give you gold nuggets and over 100 dollars and you will get another one at Lvl 15 as well and that one had more currency than the lvl 10 did.

Side note on the game mode Name that Weapon on large group series your given points on the weapon used knife gives 7 tomahawk give 6 also they give points to your health to lvl up right now I am currently 50% away from lvl 9 health and dead eye and lvl 10 stamina and that just off of PvP.
