The Multis doesn't seem to be very beginner friendly...

Are the dungeons that difficult that everyone must be in an optimum state to even go for multis? Or is every content supposed to be solo-able and multi is just a clutch (Judging from the lack of hosting)? I've played other games with an easier time doing multis, but weirdly this is the first time I'm kicked left and right. I also don't see a comm feature so I assume they can't tell me how to fix it besides the room title.

Sure, I have poor equipment because I am new after all (Rank 31), but I don't understand people kicking me using a Lv90 awakened Mako and Arth (Maybe Arth may be off element so I switched to Rayas sometimes, but still no good results).

The sidebar guide just mentions about looking at luck characters or if a character is not a match for the dungeon, but surely there's much more than that in community expectations and whatnots that's not mentioned. E.g. am I supposed to be at least Rank 100 to play these?

Again, I've played other games with an easier time doing multis, and the communities in those games are more lenient even with a kick system, so I'm trying to figure out if it's a structural issue that caused the high expectations in the first place so I can work towards that.

Depends on the dungeon. Mako without lesser Demon Heart gets a kick from me though

Is this lesser Demon Heart very significant? Sounds like equipment are as important as the unit.

It's the best equip for Mako's support slot and super easy to farm from Cave of Deep Darkness

Super easy... lol

Getting lesser demon heart maxed out should be your main priority for bringing Mako into multiplayer. It makes very significantly better. Without it, you can struggle and she wont reach her full potential.

Check out discord, itll make your life a lot easier

Maybe join a discord channel and party with some guys over there. That way you'll know who to bring and what equips you need.

I've been playing this game since February and I am familiar with what u are experiencing. Most time spent in this game farming the limited events that arrive every week, or fighting bosses for awakening mats. Players like to run lobbies with max characters that have good equips because it makes the clear time faster so more farming can be done. If you are trying to join a luck lobby then u should try to get rayas to 80 luck by playing the story. If you need help getting ur units in a better place, I wouldnt mind helping u out.

Can I check with you how do I know whether it's a luck lobby? Or generally, is there somewhere I should be looking at in a room to give me information on what I should tune my team to? Or is it just players experience on the dungeon?

When looking a lobby in multiplayer, it will say whether the host is fine with anything, wants high luck units, or needs experts. U should also read the lobby name because sometimes the host will be looking for specific units for their team.

Edit: also for spirits of the exploring, silver birds, and golden cats, u will always want to use luck units for these

like op said ,rank has nothing to do with your units progression just gives you more energy and sometimes rewards.good items to match with the units are a must for a high difficulty dungeon clear and in mako's example ,without the lesser demonheart or optima rade (arena reward) in her 5* below equip slot she won't be able to heal and give her team art fast enough .some of the content is difficult to a point that bringing more then1 luck unit into the team fight will mean a fail because most luck units have inferior stats in comparison to the better gatcha units. if the host ask for luck units in a hard stage it will usually be one of the better luck units like edram nier or a collaboration luck unit because rayasis bringing much less to the table then the other mentioned above. final advice , farm equips from og story heroes event that comes from time to time and after farming about 4 of those events and getting your lesser demonherat you should be ok.

The main things people want are either good units or good luck units.

For example, Regulus is a perfect unit for the current event. He's dark and has guaranteed party crit on true arts. Thus, people want dark luck units for this. Namely Nier, Grad, or the old dude. Idk how people feel about Boros.

People want fast clears and with Regulus introduced, it's pretty much the start of dark supremacy imho.
