[RP] - ALIEN: OLYMPUS

The night sky is crystal clear for once, free from its usual looming clouds as stars gleam in the distance. Security personal patrol the walls surrounding Compound OLYMPUS. The year is 2152, and LV_211 is the first planet to be successfully colonized since humans started expanding their reach from earth. The planet's conditions are harsher than that of earth's with an unpredictable weather system and largely hostile animal population, but at the end of the day its nothing that strong walls and guns can't solve. The colony started with a population of 62, in present day it flourishes at 368. Men, women and children makeup the colony with the majority of them residing within OLYMPUS.

Two additional outposts were established throughout the years, one for housing prisoners and the other for supplies. Compound Bravo, the supply outpost, is two miles outside the walls of OLYMPUS and houses a staff of 10 security personnel and 5 workers. The prison, Compound Charlie, is 10 miles from OLYMPUS. The greater distance was set in place in order to ensure that any escaped prisoners wouldn't be able to make it to OLYMPUS before capture. It has a population of 12 prisoners and 20 guards. The remaining population remains safe within OLYMPUS, living life as normal.

At the moment most of them are asleep, being watched over by a lethargic night shift. One guard lets out a loud yawn as another fiddles with his rifle, bored from years of taking potshots at roaming carnivores.

Suddenly the light erupts in blinding light, hands move to shield eyes as others look for the source. Something is falling from the sky, something big.

The ship crashed directly into the prison, severing its communications system and killing 9 guards and 3 prisoners. The remaining guards and their captain were ordered by the warden to relocate the prisoners to a storage room and attempt to secure the ship under the belief that its origin was human.

As they approached something emerged from the ship, leaving the guards frozen in fear as it eyed them. There wasn't enough time for them to react, the predalien lunged forward and cut through the guards, forcing a retreat as it killed 2 of them. 6 managed to escape as the remaining 3 were pinned down by its tail and claws. One of the guards watched in horror as it mounted his friend's torso, forcing her face to the upwards. It opened its jaws wide and forced its toothed inner mouth down her throat, pumping what would later be found to be eggs into her body. It repeated the process with the remaining guards, then began eating one of the dead. At this the surviving guards left completely, locking themselves in storage with the prisoners as they tried to come up with a plan.
