It's A LOT better that they stagger releases of things this way than drop it all on day 1 and we have to listen to people whine for 2.5 months until the next content drop.
EDIT: Thunderlord's 3 week anemic quest WAS pretty fucking lame, though.

I totally get the logic behind putting a timegate in place of content, but 2 months is just way too long. I could totally understand a couple of weeks so that all the foundries could be launched, but 2 months is just too damn long

So Counter point. I don't really care about the wait. While TLW was a good gun and fun to use, I have never been big on handcannons so I didn't use it much.

That’s a fair counter, but there is a lot of us that love hand cannons, and waiting 2 months for a timegated quest is just too long. I guess that’s my bigger point

I don't mind them not giving us the quest instantly, but 2 months is definitely two long. Getting the quest on completion of a certain activity or triumph would be fine, but just telling us to wait 2 months is stupid.
