Question: Quests and Luck

I'm over here being a noob thinking about the Wand of the Dark Faerie. I know there is luck in which items that Jhudora asks for, and that at level 20-ish I'll be asked to bring her expensive items.

So, how much luck is involved? Does anyone know if Jhudora's list of items will solely be based off r99 items, or are r99 items included with her original "requested items"?

Basically, How lucky can I be? Is there a chance that I can get to level 50 and never be asked to bring Jhudora a r99 item?
