M55-E0 having light bars flicker across screen in 4k only.

I purchased a M55 last year and did not have any 4k content to use with it right away and by the time i did i noticed light bars flickering across the screen. I contacted Vizio and they told me that i was outside of the 90 day window so i was basically SOL. I didn't find any fixes through an internet search at the time but i was hoping to find a solution if one is available because 4k content's becoming more popular and even just using the on board Youtube integration looks bad from the screen flickering on most videos now.
