Trying to Update Firmware with Arduino IDE
Thanks so much to anyone who lends a hand, I really appreciate it.
I'm trying to update my 3D Printer's Firmware using the Arduino IDE app available on Windows app store (using Windows 10). I am very unfamiliar with Arduino, but I managed to work my way through some errors on my own. But now I'm beat with this latest one:
Arduino: 1.8.7 (Windows Store 1.8.15.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Sanguino, ATmega1284 or ATmega1284P (16 MHz)"
Sketch uses 127344 bytes (97%) of program storage space. Maximum is 130048 bytes. Global variables use 15100 bytes (92%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1284 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 16384 bytes. Low memory available, stability problems may occur. avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x65 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 2 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x63 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 3 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x68 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 4 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x6f avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 5 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x3a avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 6 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x53 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 7 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x44 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 8 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x20 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 9 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x63 avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x61 An error occurred while uploading the sketch
This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilation" option enabled in File -> Preferences.
Not sure if there is any other information I can supply. Let me know and I'll gladly add it. Any help is much appreciated. I need my firmware updated to enable thermal runaway protection so my CR-10 3D printer doesn't burn my house down.
