A friend would've hit me up if I didn't transition

I was on a bus earlier today thinking about one of my friends. I met him after I began to transition and he doesn't know I'm trans. I just realized that, based off of the girls I know he has liked, that he probably would have tried to get with me if I hadn't transitioned by the time we met. I probably would have told him I was gay even though I never called myself a lesbian.

Just thinking about how my relationships would have been different makes me glad I came out when I did. Also the part where I hated myself, it's nice not to feel that.
