Growing a beard at 16

I am 16 and this makes me curious, I have hair growing on my upper lip, chin and sideburns, it's getting thicker but isn't extremely thick and I haven't let it properly grow out so I'm not sure how it will grow, does this indicate I will have a full beard when I'm older or is there no way to determine?
