What should I do in this game? Played on and off since launch, and I love the game, but I'm struggling to find something to do that feels fulfilling.

I got it at launch, traded it in after about 30 hours of playtime. Got it again after atlas rises, same deal. Now I have it again, have put in another 30 hours since NEXT came out. The most entertaining thing to me has been just jumping from system to system, looking at what ships they have, maybe get one, and go to the next, and this is now kind of getting boring for me. Following the atlas station stuff is kinda meh. Doing the individual space station missions is kinda meh. I built a base, but I've never been big on the base building since people first started talking about adding it. It's a space exploration game, I don't want to tie down to any specific location at all. I have max exosuit slots, 6 A/S ships including a nice one of each type, an A freighter...Honestly, I just want something fulfilling to do. Sorry if it sounds whine-y, I don't mean to. I love the concept of this game, which is why it keeps sucking me back. But I feel like I'm about to start this cycle of getting bored with it again, and I would rather not have that happen this time, so I wanted to see what you all do in the game, that maybe I am missing out on.
