First time playing Shadow of the Colossus, go with PS3 or PS4?

My friend has never played Shadow of the Colossus and they are playing through Ico right now on the PS3 remaster collection with SotC.

Should they play through SotC on the PS3 collection for a more "original" experience? Or is the PS4 remaster the best way to go now?

Thanks!
