Do USPS Packages still go to transit destinations today since George Busch Died?

I was wondering if my package would still go to its next destination because it is expected to be delivered tomorrow 12/6. I had an update on 12/4 that it departed Jacksonville, Florida and then the next update came 12/5 and it said that it was in transit to next facility. Last time it went from Florida to PA and then to cleveland and then to my local post office. Didnt know if they skipped or took different route and will update tomorrow that its at my post office or if everything got delayed bc of this day. Thanks and sorry for all the text. This is my first post so idk how this works.
