DAE Nparents have weird paranoid conspiracy theories?

My Ndad has always been super weird about the government. My mom has told me that there was a period of time where he would cause a scene if anyone asked for their IDs because it was "private information" that the person didn't need to see. Or he would go off on rants about how we needed to be prepared for the apocalypse. I found out after my parents were divorced that he used to buy alcohol all the time and had a stash. Not to drink of course though. He was very proud of having never touched alcohol and would get mad if you accused him of it. It was for when the world went to shit, for trading purposes. Or there was the phase where he was insisting on hording any prescription pill bottles because they could be used to make bombs. Just.. really wack stuff.

I just wanna throw in that i don't think people are crazy for wanting to be prepared in case the apocalypse happens, but we all know how over the top Nparents can be about this stuff...
