Can an approved (but unused) I130 hurt may chances of getting F1 visa ?

Hello to all, I am 26yo (male, single and from Latin America) and currently applying to several PhD programs in the USA in Computer Science. When I was 12 yo my dad (as a PR) filed a I130 petition on my behalf which was approved, however, I never used it. So, I have the following questions:

1. How high are the chances of having my F1 visa rejected ?

2. If I get the F1 visa, could I use the unused I130 to get PR after graduation ? Or a new I130 should be filled ?
