Neuromuscular electrical stimulation as a therapy or solution for dysfunction of belch reflex?

Been doing some research into related issues, and partially inspired by using a Dr. Ho muscle massage/pain therapy unit two decades ago, I wonder if something similar may be a solution or benefit to our issue.

Though I could not find anything specifically referencing upper esophageal sphincter and belching, it seems to be a method/therapy for achalasia type issues, so is safe/effective for similar issues.

See this short youtube clip to get a better idea of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g07ISv6cLsA

On a cursory search I only found the, Vital Stim therapy, but surely there are other options.

Anyway just wanted to throw it out there.

Disclaimer: Please do not experiment yourself, leave it up to the docs and pro's to explore this option, electrical stimulation on the throat could have serious negative consequences.

edit: found another mfg of a NMES therapy device, Ampcare’s ESP, https://swallowtherapy.com
