Heating in the shop/garage without bursting into flames?

What are everyone's recommendations on space heaters in the shop? I feel like using the ceramic heaters or propane is super sketchy with all the sawdust. I have a small space heater currently and it makes me nervous leaving it on in there . Plus it trips my breakers when I run it with everything else.
