2002 WRX cutting power

I own a tuned 2002 WRX sedan and every once in a while when I’m being particularly hard on it it seems to cut power to the engine. The first time I thought it was just the turbo cutting out for a few seconds, but more recently when I noticed it I tried pushing in the clutch and the car stalled almost immediately. It does this only when cornering hard and accelerating at high rpm. Has anyone seen a similar problem/know what to do?
