Leader boards Not Updating New Friends?

Hey guys on x1 when I add new friends they do not show on the leader boards.. Anyone know of a fix or is this just an COD issue? I have added several new friends that i have played games like HCDOM with but none of them show up on the leader boards.. (Sorry if this has been asked before, didn't see a duplicate thread when i did a quick search)
