Quad core-OC of i9-7980XE?

So, I plan on getting an i9-7980XE, delidding it and overclocking, but once I saw the power draw at 4.9GHz I got a bit scared- that's 680W higher than stock! Now, I understand that such a jump in power consumption is caused by the fact that it's an 18-core CPU. As far for productivity (some 3D Cad modelling and 2D rendering), stock performance should be very acceptable, but I'd still like to boost i9's performance in games. So, would it be possible to OC'it on 4 cores only, to about 4.9-5GHz? And would that increase the power consumption less than OC'ing all cores, to something more manageable, like +100W? (stock draw is 165W)
