I dont like the movie Forest Gump

It's long, the main character is annoying, the love interest is terrible. To be honest the only redeeming quality for me is the historical fiction aspect of it, but even that isnt enough to make me like it.

The few times people have heard me say it aloud I get yelled at and talked at like I'm a moron who doesn't know what hes talking about, or a hipster trying to be cool.
