My partner is claiming unfair dismissal from hisjob in april 2018 . Basically he was hired as an employee with contract, signed by both parties . He was removed from the site he was working at and was told he would be starting on a new site . Fast forward few days he never got to start to a new site ,( tried to get a hold of his boss and never heard from him), on the contrary he received P45 two weeks later .He was never told he was being fired . Also , he was never given payslips as he has asked for them many times , taxes have been withheld from his paycheck, but they have never been paid to HMRC.

He is filed a claim and the company is now saying he was never an employee, but a selfemployed .

Can you guys recommend someone in the SouthWest London area who can consult us and give us legal advice so we are prepared. I personally feel the company has the right tools and sources to twist the claim which will lead to us losing.
