[Spoilers?] First time P5 player with the recent sale. Can I get just a yes/no if this conversation on pancakes was a continuity error or not? It has been driving me crazy.

I just want a yes/no to if this is a continuity error or if it will come up later. It has been driving me nuts and IDK if I am being driven nuts for the last 40 hours over something that doesn't even matter lol. (I've currently just had the maincast go to Hawaii, 9/8. Ann mentions wanting to eat pancakes and it reminded me and renewed how much it bugged me.)

So, the first time that the main group meets Akechi, he walks in just as they are having a conversation about an amusement park or whatever nearby that Mona says is "shaped like a pancake." The non-cats discuss that for a bit, but none of them ever actually use the words pancake or cake. Akechi then says something about cake. But, he shouldn't have heard anything about cake even if he was eavesdropping for the entire conversation because only Mona said that, and it seems like you have to had visited the metaverse to be able to hear Mona as anything but normal meows. This makes me unsure if it was A). A continuity error. B.) Implied that other conversation took place/something was lost in the translation or C.) Aketchi has a reason to be able to understand Mona.

So the yes/no question: Is this a continuity error, or the downfall of Akechi (who is pretty "sketchi," but I haven't had anything confirmed yet at this point in the plot) going to be based on pancakes?
