Is Vice Admiral Dalmatian a Zoan or a Mink??

I'm pretty sure it has been asserted that he ate some kind of dog related Zoan Fruit, but does anyone else think he might just be a Dalmatian esque mink? I think he might be a Mink cause he also has dog like attributes in his recruit image on that Film Z cover spread but I also understand that he has a some DF visual aspects much like Lucci did in his half-leopard form. Maybe I am just reading into it, but I wanted to see what other people thought.
