We deserve climate change

We keep pretending that governments do not do enough about climate change. However, we keep voting on economic policies, we don't stop taking the car or hell, most people still don't even switch off the engine when stationary. We leave on our lights, we keep using energy consuming machines because we like the benefits, we keep on eating meat etc.

We are all hypocrites (with high exceptions) that we even pretend to care about destroying our planet. The tiniest bit of inconvenience will leave most of us unchanged regarding the climate or the planet. Humans are the worst.

Edit: I never said death by climate change is certainty, I said that even when we are faced with this existential threat we are collectively literally too lazy to do something about it. If your opinion is a) it doesn't exist, b) the science is still out on the matter or c) but the governments... I will include you directly in the group who deserves climate change
