Tetras and Rosy Barbs?

Hey Everyone!

I'm planning on setting up a 55 gallon planted tank in the next couple months built around Rosy Barbs. Right now I have 4 Rosy Barbs in with 6 Tiger Barbs in a 29 gallon and they've all been doing great for 8 months but I want to give each species some more room, especially the Rosy's.

I will get at least 2 more Rosy's when I upgrade them.

My question is can I put a school of some smaller Tetras or Rasboras with the Rosy Barbs? Do you guys have any other stocking suggestions?

EDIT: I am keeping the Tiger Barbs in the 29 Gallon, sorry for the wording
