A tryhard is looking for reading advice

So I took the ACT in October and got a composite of 35. More specifically, the subscores were 36 36 31 36 in that order. I want to retake just to get a 36 and I need advice for reading to raise that to a 36. My process is to skim the passage if that helps. Thanks
