[TOMT] video game from 2000s

game where your directed a character around a map to kill mosters looking for gear to move onto harder maps.

medieval browser game, grid based movement and I think it had automated combat but it might not have.

wasn't runescape but for some reason my mind connects it to old like 2004 runescape.
