Revere Eight Model 88 Help Please!

I recently got this pretty nice 1940’s film camera, Revere Eight Model 88 8mm, and have figured out mostly how to work it. I just can’t decide whether or not use Kodak Super 8 film, could I? Because it doesn’t say on it what kind of film to use..just don’t know if this cause the film to be entirely ruined or what. Also heard this is not a super 8 camera, but a double-8. Would love some help, making a film soon, thanks!
