FLORIDA- Community College 'suddenly' dropped a whole degree leaving 1000+ students with no financial aid.

On Monday we received a message saying that all students who are currently getting there A.S in biomedical sciences (this has also effected those getting A.S in Engineering) will now be forced to get a A.A in Arts. This news comes completely out of nowhere. All of our degree audits have been automatically updated causing most of us to be complete and 'ready for graduation.' Thus, as of today, I received a email saying my classes are no longer covered under financial aid and I will be dropped if I can't pay them. Payment is due December 14, less than ten days away. To make matters worse, the deadline to apply for the University that we are connected to ended MONTHS ago for Spring semester. I, just like a ton of other students were only two/three classes away from getting our A.S in Biomedical and had completed 90% of the classes. I am among a 1000+ students effected- some of which don't even know since they sent out the email a week before finals. Legally, is there anything that can be done?
