Island?

I just bought the game (love it so far) and I've played like, four minutes (it's late here in Norway, and I begrudgingly need to sleep) just to check if it ran okay (it did) but I'm kinda disappointed that I can't select an island mode in the world generation options. I guess I'm just not that fond of physical limitations, like the land just stopping. We are land creatures after all. The coastline is already a limitation for us, so having water before the edge of the map feels like a less sudden transition into nothing. Also, I'm an introvert and islands just make me feel safe, that with being far out at sea, away from the city and such.

It would be cool with a seed option as well, and the ability to preview the world before actually creating it. Either that or a terrain sculpting tool so we could modify the area as we please.
