(M4F) Moaning Myrtle

I had heard the rumors about the prefect's bath. Everyone talked about how Harry Potter had solved the mystery of the dragon's egg years before in the waters of the bath. Stories of Harry have become so ingrained in the legends of the school that some older stories and myths have since been forgotten.

A fellow Hufflepuff told me about the bath and how to get to it. He claims he fingered Penelope Snaproot there last semester but I don't believe it. I made plans to go there, checking to make sure I wasn't followed, passing by the portraits I knew would be asleep. I made it to the bath and took in the creepy, beautiful architecture. "Wow." my voice echoed off the marble covering the room, knocking off the fountain in the center of the bath.

I turn the faucets on and start to disrobe, leaving my clothes in a messy ball at the edge of the bath as the warm water surrounds me. "Aaah" I love the solitude and the way my voice echoes here. I sink down into the bubbly, steaming water and close my eyes.

Then it happened. I open my eyes and look around. Did I hear something? No, just the old marble creaking. I lean back and close my eyes but can't shake the feeling I'm being watched. "Who's there?" I call out, my voice bouncing around the room.
