How much experience should i have in coding before taking a cs major.

Right now im taking a computer science A class in highschool so im learning about java, but i know that i'll have to learn C++ too once i start college next year. Im just curious if i need to know the basics of it or if im good

Edit: Thanks for the feedback, i'll probably start learning more during my free time since i really do enjoy it.
