Lofty layups or hard flat heaters -asking opinions-

All the discussion w putting going on, I wanted to ask a more specific question/opinion.

This is my first year playing and between watching tons of pros and playing as much as I can, I decided to work on my putts as much as possible this winter.

Now my question is pretty basic. Obviously you want to be as accurate are high percentage as possible around the basket. The pro that catches my eye is Greg barsby. His throw-in percentage is insane and he has a very similar style to my putt. Low reach and a higher arc. I see Barsby nail some loooooong putts that have to hit 30 feet in the air, playing that hyzer w a soft landing. Now I understand the pros of this that even misses will land very close to the basket and avoids roll always.

I also see many other pros throwing these low laser beams that never reach the height of the band. I see the scary part of this running it past the basket having a tricky comeback, but also see the benefit of removing one axis. Lofty putts need to be accurate when it comes to left / right , height, aaaand play the distance correctly. Where as the low hard putts really only need to accurate on left / right, height is much easier, and distance also because your disc is always on the correct plane.

I see Barsbys throwc in percentage and think that has to be the way, but then see sooooo many others running putts w much more pace.

Assuming there's no fear of rolling away or anything like that, 25-50 feet what's your approach look like???

EDIT: here's a couple example of what I'm talking about. Obviously the line could have been a factor as James putt is wide open where as Gregs was in a wooded green.
