SAD! Music Video and I Spoke to the Devil in Miami

As I was looking through the lyrics of I Spoke to the Devil in Miami, I realized that there was a strong connection between the song and the music video to SAD! some correlations include:

1. In I Spoke to the Devil in Miami, the devil asks for x's soul and in the SAD! music video x seems quite soulless.

2. In I Spoke to the Devil in Miami, the devil says "what you crave will soon be yours", and in the music video the mysterious creature tells X that he has done well at battling himself. These don't seem to related but X has always had problems with his past and has trouble battling it, so maybe what he craved was peace with his past and to be able to get over the trauma.

These correlations lead me to think that the creature X was speaking to in the music video was in fact the devil that X gave his soul to.

Please give me feedback and tell me if there's anything I might have missed.

Thanks.
