Anyone out there love The Witcher games but not a fan of the books?

Im currently reading Baptism of Fire and im near the end. None of the books so far have grabbed me at all; if I wasnt a fan of the games I would not recommend this series at all and not sure if I would finish it.

I dont think theyre bad, but I find them (so far) to be extremely mediocre.
