Possible double SSD Failure?

Open

Good Evening!

2 weeks ago, I built a new PC and used my previous SSD's and GPU. Today I went to grab a file for my girlfriend, and I saw that neither of the 2 old SATA SSD's I used were there, despite me using (one of) them around a week ago. BIOS does not see them, Win10 does not see them, they are different brands purchased at different times.

I pulled my GF's spare mechanical drive to see if it worked in their place, and to my surprise it does. So, I installed Crystal to her PC and plugged each of my SSD's in and nothing is shown by crystal in her machine either, nor in the BIOS.

What are the chances of not one, but two SSD's failing within a week of each other? What am I missing here? I'm driving myself up the wall here.
