Is there any reason to take a final if you're already guaranteed an A?
Hi everyone!
I've found myself in a unique situation. My fluid mechanics course has offered generous extra credit opportunities, presumably to compensate for general low performance (my guess). Surprisingly, I actually ended up killing both midterms (99% average), so this extra credit will boost me to a threshold where a 0 on the final will result in an A.
I've never seen this happen before and I'm conflicted. I have a physics final immediately after my fluids final, and it'd be a giant help to skip the fluids test. Skipping the final just feels... wrong, though.
Thoughts? Would you take the final in my position? Why?
Thank you for any response.
