can't keep a job due to anxiety
Hey ya'll,
just posting here to see if anyone has any advice. I'm really struggling with holding down a job due to my anxiety. My last few jobs have been working from home doing customer service work over the phone and at first I'm fine, but then as time passes my anxiety gets worse and I always end up quitting. My calls are wonderful and everyone thinks I'm awesome at my job, but I can never just work though it.
The idea of being trapped taking call after call after call with no break makes me anxious. That coupled with the fact that I know I'll eventually get a rude customer makes it worse.
Right now, I've landed a pretty good paying job with good benefits after 90 days, I just got through 7 weeks of training and I'm doing really well on my calls, but now it's gotten to where every shift I physically cannot make myself work anymore because I keep having anxiety attacks.
I'm at a loss of what to do right now, I'm not financially in a position to quit or go to the doctor or get help, and I don't have insurance.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation, just wondering?
